Bree Cocks

Sponsored rider Bree Cocks is incredibly devoted to her Warmblood mare 'Torlea Envy', and together with her passion of eventing, this has recently seen them charging their way through the equestrian world with some amazing results!

Bree started her riding career at the tender age of 3, and moved on to Pony Club by 4 years of age with a black shetland called ‘Percy’. An exciting 10 years of pony club was to follow, competing in everything from showing to showjumping, eventing, dressage and novelties. It was shortly after purchasing a Quarter horse by the name of ‘Taco’ her love of Eventing was born.

Now, at the age of 20, Bree is competing her much loved Warmblood mare ‘Torlea Envy’ in one star. Envy is an incredible mare who's presented her own challenges over their three years together, but with Bree’s commitment to her and the help of other professionals Envy is sound and feeling better than ever - even a little cheeky at times! Bree and Envy have achieved amazing results, including winning the CNC1* young rider championships at Candlebark horse trials, placing 1st in the CNC1* section A at Woady Yaloak Horse trials and proving themselves in the dressage arena by placing second overall in the Barwon Equestrian Dressage Series for HRCAV level 1.

Most recently they've competed at the 2018 Melbourne International Three Day Event, and Bree has placed 4th as the Victorian Eventers Association Amateur rider of the year (2017/2018).

Together with Envy, Bree aspires to compete at the Australian International Three day event in the CCI2* class, and also to rejoin Pony Club to qualifying for and competing at National level.
